Shipping:
can be made to any port or city in the world. We usually
ship by sea as this is cheaper though slower. Shipping by air
is three times more costly. Shipping costs
will be added to the final price and will have to be paid in
advance. Contact thomas@goldenscoots.com
for rates and queries on port of delivery. Insurance if
required has to be taken at your end though it is not
necessary.
Payment:
Will have to be made in advance before shipping. In case of
special orders, 50% to be paid in advance and balance before
shipping. The cheapest and best method of transfer of funds is
by wire transfer. Please click here for the wire transfer
details. Cheque and Money order are accepted but you
will have to wait for the instrument to clear before shipping.
All cheques to be made in the name of Vivek Thomas Kuriakosse
or M/s. Golden Enterprises. As of now we cannot accept credit cards but you can use your
credit card to buy a bankers Cheque / draft or a wire transfer
at select banking establishments. Please contact your bank for
further details.
Packing
& Crating: We
pack and crate your scooter with utmost care. Please see
photos of the packing and crating
here.
There have been no problems with the packing so far & no buyers
have even taken insurance.
Caution:
Please ride your scooters with care. These are powerful
machines and can attain good speeds. Always use correct mix of
2 stroke oil with petrol. (A 4-5% volume of oil to petrol is
recommended for the first 500 Kms where the scooter is being
run in and then you may reduce it to 2-3%. More is always
better for the Engine as this is a primary Lubricant.) Please
also note that in extreme temperatures, the oil and spark
plugs would have to be changed or modified to suit the
conditions. All scooters that I restore are set for running
between 20-35 degrees C.
